About Dr. Marty Nature’s Blend Dog Food
Dr. Marty Nature’s Blend is a premium freeze-dried raw dog food designed to combine meat-based ingredients with fruits, vegetables, and seeds. The Essential Wellness recipe features turkey, beef, salmon, duck, and organ meats as its primary ingredients, alongside a variety of plant-based ingredients.
The freeze-dried format offers an alternative to conventional dry kibble. It is lightweight, easy to portion, and can be served straight from the bag or prepared with water. This flexibility makes it suitable for dog owners who prefer a freeze-dried food format for meals at home or while traveling.
Meat-Based Ingredients and Everyday Nutrition
The Essential Wellness formula includes several animal-protein ingredients, including turkey, beef, salmon, duck, beef liver, turkey liver, and turkey heart. It also contains flaxseed, sweet potato, egg, apple, blueberry, carrot, cranberry, pumpkin seed, spinach, kelp, ginger, broccoli, and kale.
These ingredients contribute a variety of nutrients to the recipe. The manufacturer describes Nature’s Blend as complete and balanced nutrition; check the current package label for the nutritional adequacy statement and feeding directions applicable to your product.
Easy Ways to Serve
Nature’s Blend can be served dry if your dog prefers its original texture. To prepare a softer meal, the manufacturer recommends combining 2 parts food with 1 part water, allowing the mixture to sit for 3 minutes, then mixing and serving.
Follow the feeding chart on the bag for your dog’s weight, and introduce a new food gradually to help your dog adjust. Store the product as directed on its packaging, and consult your veterinarian if your dog has special dietary requirements or develops digestive problems after a food change.
A Convenient Option for Dog Owners
The 16 oz bag provides a manageable package size for portioning and storage. Its freeze-dried format can also be useful when you want a lightweight food option for trips or outdoor activities with your dog.
Whether served as a meal or incorporated into an existing feeding routine, measure portions carefully to avoid overfeeding. If using it as a topper, reduce the amount of your dog’s other food as appropriate so the total daily intake remains suitable.
